Montserrat Zeron
Program Assistant
Montserrat Zeron is Georgetown Space Studies' Program Assistant. She is a second-year graduate student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program, concentrating in Science, Technology, and International Affairs (STIA) with a certificate in Space Studies.
She is currently a researcher contributing to the Map of Space Threats and Consequences Project for the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR). She previously served as an Astropolitics Graduate Fellow at the Bertelsmann Foundation and spent over two years in strategic communications. Montse holds a B.S. in International Affairs from Florida State University, where her honors thesis examined space diplomacy through the lens of the James Webb Space Telescope, analyzing the partnership between NASA, ESA, and CSA.
Montse works at the intersection of emerging technologies, diplomacy, and international governance. She is drawn to space as one of the few domains where science, politics, and human ambition coexist in the pursuit of exploration. A Mexico City native, she is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, with basic proficiency in Russian.
